NAJO Backboard

The NAJO Lite is the most lightweight board in the NAJO lineup, coming in at only 14.5 lb. Its design includes a lower‑section center slot that allows responders to secure each leg independently when immobilizing a patient. The tapered end features dual handholds for better control during carries, and the angled sides make log‑rolling smoother and more efficient. Despite its low weight, the NAJO Lite can float up to 154 lb.

Built from a single piece of high‑density polyethylene, NAJO boards follow OSHA guidelines and are engineered for durability. The interior is filled with polyurethane foam, with reinforced density around the handholds for added strength. The boards resist all bodily fluids, clean easily, and are fully radiolucent for clear imaging. Lightweight yet tough, they’re buoyant enough to support a patient during water rescues.
